We are very excited to welcome Francisco Landum to the Cancer Dormancy & Immunity Lab!
Francisco joins us from Lisbon, after completing a successful Master's thesis in the lab of Massimiliano Mazzone, at the VIB in Leuven, Belgium. During his Master's thesis, Francisco studied how acidosis contributes to immunosuppression and the development of pancreatic cancer. Now he shifts his research focus towards metastatic breast cancer, but preserving his curiosity for immuno-oncology. He joins the lab as a Research Assistant, and will help keep the lab organized and support multiple research projects.
Welcome Francisco, and have fun!
